Position at a glance:

This role will require the selected candidate to lead a research team (s) for financial services clients. The key responsibilities will include:

Project Management and Execution -

- Solid understanding of equity/fixed income research - financial modeling, industry research, ad-hoc research

- Manage overall workflow and end-to-end project delivery including scoping and structuring new project requests, managing overall project execution, and final delivery / presentation to the client

- Providing the team with thought leadership, project ideation and execution, quality control. This will also involve working on and delivering assignments

- Responsible for hiring, performance management, mentoring, and training of the team.

Account Management:

- Identify and execute opportunities to expand the current engagements

- Work on Master Service Agreements and any other contractual / compliance related documents, onboard/off-board new team members, manage invoicing, etc.

- Seek and implement client feedback

- Take up additional responsibilities as when required to drive the growth of the business unit.

Business Development:

- Work with BU heads and sales team to drive overall growth, identify new business opportunities, and work on innovation and automation to improve team productivity, etc.

- Work on pilot engagements for winning new business, responding to RFPs, preparing proposals for new client engagements, etc.

Knowledge Development:

- Proactively driving knowledge sharing within the team as well as with the client, and driving team members to undertake knowledge sharing sessions

Requirements

- Good analytical skills and an ability to solve problems

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Team handling experience of over 15+ employees

- Project management experience - ability to manage multiple projects at a given time

- Ability to adapt to and deliver as per requirements of different clients

- Excellent secondary /open search skills

- Excellent knowledge of MS-Office (Excel and Word in particular); spreadsheet modeling skills

Education and experience

- Graduate/Post-graduate in finance from a reputed institute with a relevant work experience of 7-12 years

- Professional qualification such as CFA would be an added advantage
