Job description :  - Financial statement analysis using company filings and databases including Bloomberg  - Developing company's operating metrics in conjunction with their relevance in different sectors/ companies  - Analyze capital structure and analyze debt based on seniority and maturity, review covenants, peer comparison, etc.  - Review reports published by rating agencies  - Prepare industry write-ups / reports  - Write earning notes, quarterly updates, coverage reports, sector reports, newsletters, event updates, theme-based reports, etc.  - Listening to and summarizing investment conference calls  - Handling adhoc research requests as per client requirements  Skill Set Required :  - Ability to identify and solve issues effectively on time, eye for details  - Good MS Office Skills  - Strong Accounting and financial skills  - Basic knowledge of macroeconomics aggregates  - Ability to ensure that tasks within areas of responsibility are completed in a timely manner  - Challenging current thinking by implementing new ways of working  - Ability to practice attentive and active listening skills  - Ability to identify proactive ways to contribute to firms goals & mission  - Knowledge of database tools - Bloomberg, Reuters and other financial data systems  Education and experience :  - Must be a MBA (Finance) from tier-2 and tier-3 University or Institute / or a CA; CFA (US) would be an added advantage.
