Job Description  As the head of technology you will be responsible for defining and executing on the technology vision. You will be responsible for building a strong technology team that is super committed and works in line with the existing group business objectives and business strategy.  Technology Operations  Carry out architecture assessment and validation activities, and provide solutions to fix the gaps.  As an architect on J2EE and Open source technologies guide team members, and be the partner of choice for customers and prospects  Ability to work as part of pre-sales team and provide responses to RFPs  Responsible for design and development of multi-tiered, scalable applications in traditional environments.  Provides guidance to project teams regarding system and application design, coding and design standards, best practices, and system performance and availability.  Drive the technical strategy and lead team(s) in meeting the strategic objectives.  Collaborate effectively with team to solve complex problems spanning their respective areas and resolve technological disagreement.  Liaise with network administrators, systems analysts, and software engineers to assist in resolving problems with software products or company software systems  Create a highly optimized, performance driven and sustainingOpenSource platform to offer more features and scalability  Building a culture of strong commitment, innovation within the technology team  Strategy and Planning  Planning for growth risks - define a long-term road map to transition technology fromOpenSourceplatform to an alternative platform (build vs. buy) to meet the scalability and availability requirements  Constantly investigate emerging technologies & techniques, research ongoing industry trends, make appropriate recommendations to the management for enhancements  Year of Experience  10 - 15 in the relevant field.   Key Skills  POSGRES, JAVA and C++  Education  Under Graduate: Any Graduate - Any Specialization  Post Graduate: Any Postgraduate - Any Specialization  Overall a min. experience of 9-12 years in technology development and at least 4+ years in a technology leadership role is a big plus  Agile development practices prior SCRUM Master experience is strongly desired
