We offer a rewarding work experience with global opportunities, while maintaining an entrepreneurial and employee-focused culture.  The qualified candidate will be a product evangelist with the ability to clearly define, discuss and communicate product value and benefits to our customers.   - Additionally, the VP will also possess a balance of business and technical expertise, and should be able to work with Firm management to develop all aspects of the product business including vision, strategy, features, architecture, planning, development, positioning, pricing, sales support, customer satisfaction, and evolution roadmap.  - Specifically, he/she will direct our software product development efforts by defining product requirements, system architecture, and strategies for our decision intelligence products, and by working with senior management and client leaders to determine how best to meet the needs of our Clients.   - Familiarity with finance, especially experience with financial institutions, and/or familiarity with accounting, financial data analytics and financial reporting concepts, would be an advantage.  - He/She will be responsible for establishing and managing processes and procedures for the SolutionWare team; managing their utilization; and conferring with the innovation team and IT to accomplish Quality Assurance; validity of algorithms used; and provision of the necessary computing infrastructure services.   - Other tasks include identifying and resolving errors and defects in products; providing technical assistance to client teams; analyzing existing product solutions and recommending improvements; recommending improvements; and designing, creating, testing documenting and installing enhancements and upgrades".   - He or she will also conduct research and feasibility studies, and make recommendations, concerning software products and services planned for development.  - This person will need to demonstrate leadership and willingness to accept ownership for developing solutions to difficult problems. Proven track record of success in driving the entire product lifecycle, from identifying market problems and defining market solutions ..  - A substantial track record of success in bringing innovative software products to market.  - Significant experience managing software development teams, training and developing their talent and skills   - Experience and level of comfort presenting concepts to senior executives (including internal Essex leaders, as well as senior clients).
