JOB DESCRIPTION: Head - Exports

Job Title / Grade - Deputy General Manager – Exports

Function - Sales & Marketing

Location - Faridabad

Reports to - Business Head

A. BACKGOUND/QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE:

Qualifications - BE / B.Tech (Mechanical)

MBA – will be an additional advantage

Experience

Years - 15+ years

Type - Dealt with exports of engineering goods + dealt with the tenders (domestic or overseas)

Age - 35+ years

Industry - Desirable railway sector knowledge

B. CORE RESPONSIBILITES

1. Develop an exhaustive exports strategy for present and future products

2. Should be knowledgeable about existing exports regulations and EXIM bank policies

3. Anticipate research and report on future changes in import / export laws

4. Maintain and share knowledge of all relevant export law and procedures, tariffs, duties, licenses and restrictions

5. Liaise with the other departments (R&D / Operations) in order to maintain effective and relevant export activities

6. Manage and maintain the effective insurance provisions

7. Presenting reports and statistics on exports business

8. Should be comfortable in travelling for the purpose of business generation
