eRevMax - Lead - UI Architect (8-13 yrs)
Position : UI Architect & Lead
Job Description :
Primary Responsibilities :
- Define the UI architecture for existing and new products including all aspects of presentation layer and related browser and server technologies responsible for rendering the desired user experience.
- Take complete ownership of architecture and software design for front-end development.
- Lead the development of cross-platform web and mobile applications using JavaScript, angular JS, HTML5 etc.
- Play a direct and key role in building and mentoring the front-end development team.
- Apply understanding of responsive design and other emerging UI paradigms across web and mobile to delivery of high-performance, reusable UI code.
- Provide technical evaluations for product capabilities and develop original and creative technical solutions.
- Research and document options and opportunities to solve business needs and assess the feasibility and risk associated with proposed solutions.
- Keep abreast of web and mobile application development landscape including technologies, trends and innovations. Leverage this understanding to create competitive edge for the organization.
Education and Experience :
- B.E / B.Tech / M.Tech / MCA / M.Sc in IT or related discipline.
- 8+ years of experience in software development, with extensive technical delivery experience in front-end development and at least 2 years as hands on front-end architect.
- Required skills include JavaScript, Angular JS, Ajax, JQuery, HTML5, CSS, back-end / web service technologies like Restful and XML & debugging tools (Firebug, etc.) and architecting scalable web and mobile applications.
- Desired skills include JAVA, mobile application development technologies, database, analytics platform.
- Strong aptitude and knowledge of cross-browser / cross-platform compatibility. Ability to develop cross-browser and cross-platform compatible solutions.
- Demonstrable excellence in innovation, problem solving, data structures, design patterns and user experience.
- Excellent communication and evangelism skills to mentor other team members across the organization.
- Expert knowledge of the software development life cycle and methodology with experience with Agile programming and rapid prototyping a plus.
