About our Client - Our client is a subsidiary of one of India's biggest and most respected private sector Banks in India. It is a leading stock broking company having completed over 15 years in operations serving a diverse customer base of retail and institutional investors. It is now looking to grow its Institutional broking segment by expanding the Equity research team as the first step. Its looking to add Research Associates across all sectors.

Job Description - Reporting into the Head of Research, your responsibilities will include:

- Interaction with company promoters/officials and site visits of the companies under coverage

- Annual report analysis, quarterly result updates, event updates, channel checks (dealers, end-user industries) and global competitors' analysis

- Attending various industry conferences and building long lasting relationships with investors, regulators and other market participants

- Communicating efficiently with the sales traders and sales team about the stocks under coverage on a daily basis

The Successful Candidate - You will have an MBA from a top tier business school / CA, CFA and a Bachelor's in Engineering/IIT is desirable. You will have ideally 2-5 years of work experience on the buy side/sell side equity research with a strong focus on the same sector for the recent most year. You will have demonstrated strong quantitative and analytical abilities along with excellent commercial acumen through your prior work experience.
