Equity Research Analyst (NBFCs & Insurance)

Position Overview

Lead Analyst-Drive equity sales and trading activity through monitoring and analyzing companies across NBFC and Insurance segments.

Position Responsibilities

- Provide written research, financial statements and valuation analysis for use with institutional investors, money managers and hedge funds

- Write call notes and present recommendations, background and breaking information on covered companies to Sales team in order to drive revenue generation

- Build financial models for companies under coverage

- Attend conference and corporate earnings calls; utilize industry specific data in support of company coverage; review business and trade publications, annual reports and financial filings

- Manage meetings with covered companies and investors

Skills/Experience

- 4+ years of equity research experience in covering Indian NBFC/Insurance

- Strong financial analysis, valuation and modeling skills

- Excellent written and oral communication skills

- CA/CFA/MBA preferred

- Experience in valuing/tracking insurance sector is a must
