Designation: Equity Research Analyst

Core Skills & Competencies :

- Superior analytical, reasoning and logical skills are a pre-resquite for the role.

- Thorough knowledge of valuation methods, financial modeling, corporate finance, accounting and accounting standards and, economics.

- Valuation of companies, Generating Company/Industry Reports; participating in conference calls organized by companies and talking to the management.

- Ability to understand business models, key company drivers and company and industry specific competitive advantages.

- Writing articles on investment related topics, Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must.

- Any exposure to and Knowledge of Value Investing Principles would be an added advantage.

- Must be a self-starter and a team player.

- Ability to multi-task and be willing to constantly broaden one's knowledge base.

Desired Candidate :

- Buy or Sell side Equity Research Analyst with 1 years+ experience.

- Handling IT industry and covering companies belonging to these industries.

- Work experience in IT industry will be preferred.

Please note candidates in a pure operations (clearing, settlements, model updation etc.) role will not be considered).

Educational Qualification : MBA in Finance / MA (Economics)/CA/CFA.
