Hiring for a Leading Investment Bank in Bangalore

- Should have relevant experience in Banking.

Purpose of Department:

- The Banks team performs investment research covering companies, regulatory policies, industry and markets across the globe.

Job Description:

- As a member of the Global Research - Banks team in Bangalore the job primarily involves working with an onshore counterpart on financial modelling, analysis and report writing to support research output. Key activities will involve:

- Creating, maintaining and updating models on a regular basis with guidance from onshore.

- Make meaningful contribution to flash notes, company reports and sector notes with guidance from onshore counterparts.

- Maintaining and updating various databases

- Tracking and analyzing regulatory changes and their impact on coverage

- Working on various client requests independently in a timely and accurate manner.

- Working on global products for the Banks team

- Working knowledge of data sources such as Bloomberg, Datastream, Factiva, CEIC

Skills/Experience Required, the candidate must have:

Degree in Finance / MBA or equivalent

- Around 1-3 years of experience preferably in equity research - Banking sector

- Knowledge and understanding of various valuation methodologies and metrics would be expected.

- Should be able to use various data sources such as Bloomberg, Datastream, CEIC etc.

- Good written and oral/presentation skills; Can respond quickly, efficiently and accurately to ad-hoc requests

- Additional Information / Specific Skills (If Any): Overall 1-3 years of experience in equity research - Banks
