The primary functions performed in the business include:

Origination and structuring of loan/mezzanine financing for clients

Risk managing the positions held on the books on a dynamic basis

Selling down originated positions either on a best efforts or an underwritten basis in primary or secondary

MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE:

As part of this role you will be part of an Analyst team, you will be responsible for supporting the structuring, trading and the syndicate teams on a variety of duties, including:

- Preliminary review of deals and preparing sniff tests/CRM Heads up memo on transactions brought in by coverage teams

- Preparing detailed credit analysis on mandated transactions

- Preparing teasers for investor meetings/market reads

- Preparing Information memorandums for selling a deal to prospective investors

- Internal and external presentations

- Maintain internal database of deals mandated, status, revenues, key specs etc

- Weekly updates on deal status and pipeline review

- Circulate periodic news flow on portfolio deals and deals in pipeline

- Periodic portfolio reports

EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

CFA/CA/MBA Finance

WORK EXPERIENCE/BACKGROUND:

- 2-3 years in equity research , rating agencies or credit research

- Experience of presenting to senior management

- Strong analysis skills

- Team player

- Focus on Quality

- Confident self starter

TECHINICAL/BUSINESS SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:

- Strong Microsoft skills (Excel, Powerpoint, Word)

- Sharepoint

- FID product knowledge
