Salary Range: 4 - 10 LPA  The Analyst will work closely with the Investment Banking Team. While the Analyst will be the junior on the team, the person is encouraged to present his/her views.   The Analyst will be expected to:   1. Carry out extensive research to source industry and target data required for identification and assessment of possible investment banking mandates   2. Ensure high quality of analysis and research output that will directly support business development efforts   3. Make presentations to internal peer review committee as well as prospective clients   4. Track multiple sectors and companies and prepare research summaries/ presentations at various frequencies   5. Perform the quantitative analysis required by the investment banking team, including helping the team in building of financial models on spreadsheets   6. Perform the qualitative analysis required by the investment banking team. This entails reading press releases and financial reports, identifying and reading rating agency research, and forming opinions based on all of this as well as the quantitative data as to the suitability of the prospective investment banking mandate   7. Collation of industry intelligence, updating of the proprietary databases, etc.  8.
