Enterprise Architect - Infrastructure (7-12 yrs)

Responsibilities

- Participate in and lead strategic projects focused on enterprise architecture, specifically within the EA-Infrastructure Practice

- Develop and maintain strong client relations with senior and C-level executives—develop new insights into the client’s business model and pain points, and deliver actionable, high-impact results.

- Conduct Goals, Question, and Metric exercise for aligning, defining and implementing overall organization objectives.

- Participate in client engagements including oversight of business transformation activities.

- Lead and mentor other consultants within WCS and across Wipro Technologies.

- Support business development and ensure high levels of client satisfaction during delivery.

- Provide project and program support and help the account management team develop new opportunities within the client space.

- Work with Engagement Managers and other to prioritize tasks and schedule activities.

- Plan and ensure project execution is well within aggressive timelines.

- Determine and articulate ROI for individual and overall IT services rendered during client engagements.

- Contribute thought capital through the creation of executive presentations and position papers.

Qualifications (Must Have)

- Undergraduate degree or equivalent professional experience in Computer Science, Information Systems or Engineering

- Past consulting experience is required, with 15+ years spent as a practitioner

- Enterprise Architecture experience at a top tier consulting firm is required.

- Experience with virtualization, IT / infrastructure rationalization and modernization

- Sound, hands-on background of IT services, quality processes and SDLC models.

- Specific experience with EA frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman or DoDAF

- Experience in design, implementation and EA methods, frameworks and infrastructure implementation within a large corporate environment

- Experience in working with large distributed teams in a highly dynamic environment, preferably involving an onshore/offshore model is highly desirable

- Experience in advising clients for large scale project implementations using outsourcing & off shoring staffing models

- A good understanding of technologies covering infrastructure architecture and how it aligns to the overall enterprise architecture

- Excellent skills in MS Office Tools (Power Point, Word, Excel)

Qualifications (Nice to Have)

- Security related certifications, including CISA, CISM, CISSP

- Networking related certifications including CCNA, CCDA, CCIE

- M.B.A. or Master’s in a relevant discipline from a top university strongly preferred GPA of 3.3 and higher

- A good understanding of Portfolio Management and IT Governance structures

- A strong and well-rounded understanding of business process management issues, reengineering techniques and sourcing decision frameworks is required

- Prior responsibility for leading Enterprise Architecture Initiatives within a large corporate environment is desirable

- Extensive knowledge of SOA strategies and governance structures

- Knowledge of regulatory influences facing specific industries (HIPAA, GLB, Sarbanes-Oxley, etc)

The ability to succeed in a professional environment where client and project direction is not always well defined. Qualified candidates will understand how to produce results when working in challenging client environments and/or new business areas.

- Facilitation skills
The ability to facilitate executive workshops and obtain consensus.

- Negotiation skills
Understanding of principled negotiation strategies and the ability to resolve differing opinions and seek a win-win resolution to conflicts.

Location / Travel:

- Extensive travel (domestic or international) may be required.
