POSITION SUMMARY:  Position Title: Engagement Director	  Qualification: CA/CPA/ICWA/MBA(Finance)  Process: F&A Operations	  Total Experience: 15-18 years  Location: Kolkata  MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:   Key Responsibilities –  The role-holder :  - Is responsible to provide leadership for the location – increase the FTE base, service lines offered, and develop newer skills and competencies aligned to the requirements of the group.  - Provides accountability and authority for:  a) Client relationship  b) Portfolio management  c) Client satisfaction  d) Account business planning and strategy  e) Financial performance   f) Growth   - Acts as a single point of contact within customer organization for troubleshooting and resolving all issues arising from delivery-related account activities  - Understands what it takes to manage a business and uses these insights to gain better understanding of the client’s needs and to position the value offered  - Ensures that management is informed of business performance responsively and as required to support business planning & decision-making (e.g., pipeline progress, forecast-to-close success, progress on opportunity, etc.)  - Manages contractual re-negotiations to protect business interests while at the same time maintaining customer satisfaction  - Assures account development for the owned portfolio of Clients  - Developing strong networks in the functional business lines within the organisation as well as with the key client stakeholders, whilst being mindful of internal protocol.  - Manage the talent pipeline within the team to ensure organisation resilience on a short, medium and long term basis  PERSON SPECIFICATION:  Essential Skills and Experience –  - 15 – 18 yrs of proven experience in BPO in a global complex environment  - Should have led large businesses in the F&A space  - Subject matter expert in the F&A domain  - Experience in building shared services teams involving transitioning of existing delivery from multiple onsite locations to an offshore/near-shore location  - Leadership skills in a multicultural environment  - Proven experience in a global complex BPO environment  - Ability to influence at senior business levels  - Strong relationship building, communication, and influencing skills  - Ability to bring innovation to challenges and to overcome problems and obstacles as they arise as well as take action and produce desired outcomes with limited direction  - Strong commercial awareness and project management ability  - Experience in change management   Desirable Skills and Experience –  - Leading multiple service lines in a matrix reporting relationship  - Prior experience in an MNC work culture
