Experience : 4 to 8 years

Location: Gurgaon

Job role: The energy & efficiency team is part of the Manufacturing strategy and operation group specializing in driving Energy sustainability at client. The team assist in engaging with client on diagnostics or assessment of energy efficiency, design energy efficiency program and implementing themes on energy efficiency with capability transfer to client. The team delivers implemented and proven performance improvement programmes at the client site. And have extensive experience in the energy industry, particularly in energy trading, physical movement of commodities and energy risk management. As part of the team, your responsibilities include:

- Monitor and optimise client operations;

- Identify and design basic solutions for design improvements;

- Define requirements for control/instrumentation improvements;

- Being familiar with best maintenance practices and reliability improvements;

- Analyse systems and propose energy efficiency improvements, define test-runs, comply with the site's management of change procedures and get the proposed change implemented, documents performance improvements and get these approved by the customer;

- Leading and organizing information exchange meetings & training courses.

Job Specification

- Conducting Assessment of client processes on Energy Audit, Energy Lossess and leakages, over capacity –under capacity drive usage, and alternate energy solutions.

- Delivering energy management and carbon reduction services for our clients.

- Training client employees in Sustainability methodologies and Energy efficiency. Proficient with BEE ( India), EERE (USA), Energy Saving Trust (UK), etc to advice clients on Various government bodies and tools available on embarking in Energy efficiency roadmap.

- Play an integral role in delivering consulting services to client companies in the area of focus which shall include: Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Accounting and Reporting, Carbon Footprint and Reporting, Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), or Energy Efficiency Improvement (energy audit)

- Good understanding of GHG calculation tools, guidelines and methodologies from IPCC and Greenhouse gas Protocol, energy economics, due diligence assessment, etc.

- Fulfill support team capability in both project delivery and business development dimensions.

- Execute and Lead Change Management of the local site based implementation of energy management as defined and supported by the Global Energy efficiency and sustainability Program.

- Candidate must have experience in an Energy management domain ( Commercial buildings ,industry, Process and operations )

- Possess a proven track record as a team leader for energy management services to industrial and commercial businesses.

- Able to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines and manage the expectations of project stakeholders

- Possessing data analysis skills and excellent numerical reasoning and problem solving

- Be able to make a quick and effective appraisal of energy reduction potential for an installation or business and decide on a course of action that balances theory.

- Technical awareness of mechanical and electrical energy systems through involvement in energy reduction projects.

- Experience of program planning and management for commercial energy projects

- Experience of generating business cases for energy reduction programmes, winning the financial argument and demonstrating tangible reductions in operational energy expenditure

- Experience of energy controls engineering, M&E design, carbon trading, water management or raising investment to fund energy projects

- Excellent written and verbal communication to apply to report writing and the delivery of presentations

- Experience with modeling/simulation tools such as Pro II, Aspen or HYSYS is optional.

Skills Required:

- Tier 1 Engineering Institute or Post graduate in Sciences or Energy or CEM or EMIT

- Post graduate degree in Management -preferred

- Lean Six Sigma MBB/BB trained (certification – preferred)

- Mfg Energy management and sustainability.

- Atleast 5-6 years of experience in energy or utility firms, or driving process excellence in energy efficiency, Performing energy audit,

- Accreditations: Chartered Energy Manager, or Chartered Engineer, or Chartered Environmentalist.

- Knowledge of atleast one of the following tools: Carbon Credit, Energy Lens,PowerLogic,SAP Energy etc

- Work experience in following Industry domains: Utilities, Energy, CGS, Metals and mIning, Auto Ancillary, Auto OEMS, Pharma.
