End AIDS India (EAI) is a unique fundraising endeavour that is harnessing the power of five respected NGOs in India, which work collectively on various aspects of the response to HIV/AIDS in our country. EAI is building for the first time a funding platform to raise funds to combat HIV/AIDS from the public and other non-institutional funders in India. EAI has launched F2F and Tele-facing and has ambitions to scale this.The partners of the project are:  MAMTA - Health Institute for Mother and Child is a national organisation based in New Delhi supporting underserved and marginalised individuals and communities for achieving optimal and sustainable health and development. MAMTA Health Institute for Mother and Child, part of the International HIV/AIDS Alliance, is the host NGO for the campaign.  India HIV/AIDS Alliance is a national organisation based in New Delhi working to strengthen the delivery of effective, innovative, community-based interventions to key populations, and marginalised communities in particular.  Humsafar Trust is a community-based organisation based in Mumbai working on the HIV response for vulnerable sexual minorities.  LEPRA Society is a health and development organisation based in Secunderabad (AP) working to restore health, hope and dignity to people affected by leprosy, tuberculosis, malaria, HIV/AIDS, blindness and other health conditions exacerbated by stigma and social discrimination.  Vasavya Mahila Mandali(VMM) is based in Vijayawada (AP) which promotes comprehensive social, economic and political development for women, children and youth in vulnerable situations.  The five NGOs are part of the International HIV/AIDS Alliance(IHAA), 40 nationally based, independent civil society organisations and an international secretariat that are dedicated to ending AIDS through community action.  Job Title:  Director Fundraising : End Aids India   Team size 4 in year one, 8 in year two   Location: New India  Main function :   - EAI is looking for a senior level business development professional, for the post of Director Fundraising: End Aids India with experience in strategic fundraising, building capacity for fundraising, and relevant knowledge of the individuals and private fundraising market.   - The candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to increase the flow of resources from individuals and corporates for EAI activities. S/he shall build upon the existing fund raising streams within EAI (F2F and Tele-facing currently) and establish new ones.   Main Duties and Responsibilities :  Strategic:  - Lead and grow EAI's fundraising activities to meet set ROI and KPIs   - Lead strategic business planning, grow fundraising and generate increased revenue   - Explore and develop new fundraising streams such as corporates/HNWI  - Contribute to the broader IHAA vision and strategy   Operational:  - Plan and implement annual plans and longer-term strategic plans   - Induct, manage and develop EAI staff and support partner Executive Directors to deliver EAI goals  - Maintain and develop support systems and mechanisms for fundraising including the those linked to EAI implementing partners  - Promote the EAI brand and develop EAI champions (internal to Alliance and external) in order to grow its reputation on the market  Responsibilities in detail :   - Strategic- Lead strategic business planning, grow fundraising and generate increased revenue  Lead and grow EAI's fundraising activities to meet set ROI and KPIs   - Develop and shape operational model for EAI and partners, revisiting and strengthening the current approach for various products/channels  - Develop and shape governance, project, human and financial management   - Agree monitoring systems with IHAA, India partners   - Ensure compliance to regulation (country/other); adherence to best practices (country/global)  Lead strategic business planning, grow fundraising and generate increased revenue:   - Develop through consultation and robust scoping a strategy for a scalable business model for financial growth  Explore and develop new fundraising streams such as corporates/HNWI:  - Assess market opportunities, develop and implement new fundraising products  - Develop framework for strategic partnerships and conditions for successful corporate CSR initiatives  Contribute to the broader IHAA vision and strategy through collaboration, knowledge sharing and leadership on diversified income streams :  - Manage and develop good relationships with the host organisation, the UK Secretariat, EAI implementing partners, existing suppliers and strategic partners  - Demonstrate drive to achieve goals and vision  - Set up and support knowledge sharing opportunities across Alliance geographic regions   - Attend/contribute to relevant Alliance-wide meetings  - Operational - ensure planning, management, monitoring, compliance and staffing requirements are appropriate and effective to deliver goals, drive collaboration across the platform of implementing LOs; the suppliers and the PMU, etc.  Plan and implement annual and strategic plans:  - Set fundraising priorities, goals, budget and action plans, to budget, and to meet ROI and KPIs  Induct, manage and develop EAI staff and support EAI Executive Directors to deliver EAI goals:  - Recruit, lead and support the EAI team, ensuring that right skills and resources are in-place to deliver against fundraising plans   - Lead meetings and ensure adequate follow-up   - Support team members to be empowered to achieve goals  - Establish strong working relations with partners Executive Directors to develop their role through their input, buy-in and leadership   - Manage the learning process and ensuring the relevant information is provided to and collected from the partners and suppliers  Qualifications required :  - Diploma/Degree in Business, Management, Marketing, PR, Communication or other relevant discipline or adequate demonstrated experience. MBA or relevant experience is desirable.  Experience required :  - Minimum 12 years of experience in leading face- to -face or individual fundraising programmes or B2C sales/business development experience.   - Relevant direct marketing experience, experience in working with direct marketing suppliers is preferred.   - Experience in leading a successful marketing, fundraising, other relevant campaign.  - Experience of representing organisations in external forums and with a broad range of stakeholders.  - Fluency in Hindi is essential  - Sound understanding of the legal and fiscal situation in India  - Experience in HIV/AIDS and/or sexual and reproductive health is desirable.  Abilities & Skills required :  - Exceptional management skills in relation to people and systems.
