Sales Development Representatives are responsible for identifying and creating new qualified sales opportunities for Account Executives. You directly lead the company's initiative to gain market share and build pipeline for the account team. This is an entry level position in the organization and serves as a great foundation for a long-term career in SaaS sales. If you have the knack for sales and reaching into companies to find the right decision makers, can deliver incredible product pitches and conduct meaningful discussions in a manner that sets the stage for the future product sales, then this is the right career choice for you! You need to conduct business dealings.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Collaborate with and leverage teammates (marketing and account teams) to develop targeted lists, call strategies and messaging to drive opportunities

- Prospect Small & Medium businesses, and mid-market organizations via cold-calling, social networks, e-mail and utilizing information from internet resources

- Make 40+ calls in a day to build and manage the lead pipeline

- Promote EmpXtrack's solution with various management levels and professionals across technical and business disciplines

- Qualify key decision makers through calls, emails and high level product demos

- Disseminate opportunities to Account team, educating them on the various opportunities

- Manage, track and report on all activities using Zoho CRM

- Provide closed-loop feedback to ensure continuous process optimization

REQUIREMENTS

- Ability to understand and successfully promote technical offerings and solution sets

- Able to work independently in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced start-up environment

- Positive and energetic phone skills, excellent listening skills, experience in pre-call planning, opportunity qualification and objection handling

- Possess integrity, be coachable and a team player

- Proficient with standard computer tools (email, MS Office, LinkedIn, CRM, Skype)
