Employment Lawyer - BPO - LLB/LLM (3-6 yrs)

Role Purpose:

- To provide legal support and risk analysis to the business in India (in particular the HR team) on all employment/labour law issues impacting the business.

- In addition to support on litigation matters that arise in India.

Role Duties & Responsibilities:

1. To act as a junior lawyer for Litigation & Employment matters affecting the group of companies in India.

2. To provide legal advice / assistance and risk analysis to the business on areas of employment law and commercial litigation

3. To assistance and support the Line Manager and other members of the team in region on such matters that may arise a

4. To work in accordance with the Litigation Practise Manual and such other instructions provided to you from time to time, as well as ensuring you keep your line manager updated on all matters you are working on and any issues that are raised with you by the business.

5. To work on improving professional standards and develop a high performance culture within the Legal, Governance & Compliance team within the AMEA region.

6. To work with and co-ordinate external legal advice from the company approved panel of external law firms in providing the business with expert legal advice on complex issues that may arise from time to time which affect the group of companies in the Asia Pacific region.
