Employee Communication & Engagement Manager
Job Dimensions
1. Conceptualizing , developing and managing the overall internal communication strategy in consultation with the senior leadership team to help drive business objectives.
2. Advising senior leadership on their internal communication approach, content ,delivery and managing their communication calendar.
3. Working with internal stakeholders to effectively communicate and bring to life our directional themes and drive the culture change agenda
4. Developing, managing and up to date maintenance of internal communication channels including the intranet
5. Evaluating and introducing interactive communication channels to improve employee engagement and enable culture/behavioural change
6. Effective and creative mapping of information to internal audiences to meet business and communication goals
7. Developing and facilitating the communication process spanning briefing, content and delivery for internal stakeholders in line with specific project needs and business goals.
8. Identifying, briefing and working with external vendors to ensure quick turnaround and effective delivery of
communication objectives
9. Effectively manage the internal communication budget.
Desirable/ Good to have Attributes
1. Relevant work experience in the area of internal communication , employee engagement and culture change. A professional qualification in Mass Communication would be an advantage.
2. Proven ability to manage all aspects of an internal communication plan including: idea generation, Analysis, developing strategic directions and devising plans
3. Excellent written communication and presentation skills
4. Experience in managing intranet and other internal communication channels, including social media channels
5. Experience in writing communication briefs and ability to analyze and evaluate creative work against a brief
6. Excellent project management skills and planning skills including time management and working on tight budgets
7. Ability to communicate complex concepts in easy to understand, clear language for a diverse international audience
8. Experience of working in organisational change environments and coordinating change and engagement projects
9. Experience of working with Senior managers and cross cultural teams
10. Excellent interpersonal skills
