Elara Capital - AVP - Investment Banking

Elara Capital is a global boutique investment bank headquartered in London. It has divisions in investment banking, capital markets, research and asset management. Its offices are located in Mumbai, Delhi, Dubai, London, Mauritius, New York and Singapore.

The firm is currently seeking a candidate to join its Mumbai Investment Banking team, where the candidate will work with Elara's US business. The successful candidate will focus on the execution of global corporate finance mandates and LP fund raising mandates, working in particular with US investors. Additionally, the candidate will work on the origination of new mandates.

Criteria:

- 5-8 years experience in fund raising for funds

- Established offshore investor relationships a major plus, particularly in USA.

- Excellent English oral skills

- Strong academic background and understanding of international markets

- Strong Entrepreneurial mindset

- Must be willing to work USA hours from Mumbai (there is scope to relocate to New York office eventually).

- Must possess passport for overseas travel

Job Description:

Sales:

- Primary role is the development of new and existing investor relationships, with a strong focus on USA clients, to execute various mandates.

Origination:

- Develop new and manage existing global corporate relationships, originating corporate finance and LP fundraising mandates.

- Development of marketing materials/ including teasers, information memorandum etc.

- Development of business models as relevant

- Search / scanning for potential investors according to deal parameters

- Arranging Road Shows / Meetings

- Provisioning of information required by potential investors

- Coordination for due diligence

Salary shall commensurate experience and qualifications
