SUMMARY :   The professional with 10+ years of industry experience who combines technical knowledge with sales skills. Will be responsible for providing solid solutions that contribute to the efficient and effective solutions meeting our customers needs. Will have to liaise regularly with other members of the team and colleagues from a range of departments, such as finance, development, design, customer support, product and operations, as well as senior company managers. To work in line with the sales team targets and objectives, provide information of the prevailing market conditions and provide sales reports as required.  PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES :   - The primary responsibility of the position holder is to deliver planned sales growth/profitability for the products of the company.  - Technical promotion: be able to assimilate the technical promotion of our products and to offer it with our customers as per their requirements.  - Offering after-sales support services and solving client problems.  - Developing and implementing sales strategies to increase market share and profitability on a sustainable basis in line with Annual Business Plan (ABP) based on transactional, product and customer data analysis.  - To drive a strong bottom up/catchment focussed customer acquisition and retention plan.  - To develop detailed end user/catchment profiles with clear action plans to grow business in context including local interfaces and visibility.  - Travelling to visit potential customers, getting involved in an early stage of new projects, establishing reports and advising customers on potential solutions/products  - To plan and implement local sales promotion across various locations.  - Keeping a close eye on sales activities of competitors and utilizing ideas where appropriate   - Ensuring the CRM tool is being used effectively and provides a competitive advantage.  - To coach, mentor, train the sales team to over achieve targets while ensuring that attrition levels are below targets  - Overseeing performance management of under-performing sales staff.  ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES :  - Responsible for checking on status of payments and liaising with accounts team as well as keep the Management and/or sales manager updated on an on-going basis.  - Responsible for updating the sales database, preparing sales reports as required by the Management and/or sales manager.  FUNCTIONAL COMPETENCIES :  - High quantitative and analytical abilities with ability to manage large data sets in an IT/MS Excel context  - Should have good organization skills and good man management skills  - Extensive understanding of customer and sales management, customer service & product life cycle operations  - Must have promotion/people/market understanding  - Good understanding of Supply Chain Management  - Expert in social media/content management tools  BEHAVIORAL COMPENTENCIES:  - Discerning written and spoken communication skills  - Self-starter and low maintenance individual  - Good leadership skills with results orientation  - High emotional quotient  - High ethics quotient  Salary Offered : 15-18 LPA
