Job Description:

Person eligible for this role must have strong understanding in both business process engineering and retail lending in India, worked in personal lending/loan, unsecured credit and/or credit card companies in operations and underwriting teams. Should be able to build and deliver operational processes linked to customer journey, lending operations, underwriting, risk assessment and collections. Understanding of credit scoring, CIBIL scores, risk modeling, core underwriting, collections and recovery management and business operations for lending is utmost important.

Responsibilities:

- Banking professional (or leading institutional background) with experience of 3 to 6 years in banking operations and unsecured lending is a requisite

- Deep understanding of business processes and overall operations.

- Cross function experience in dealing with IT, Business and Operations teams.

- Understands application of the principles in the defined tasks related to basic Retail Banking processes such as risk calculation, credit policies, CIBIL scores etc

- Knows the purpose of regulation and which authority is responsible for Banking & Financial Services supervision; understands regulations and compliance requirements for own allocated tasks

- Demonstrates an understanding of the role and importance of process management.

- Should have the capabilities to build a strong relationship with key counterparts and client points of contacts in order to be constantly updated about any changes and be in sync with the client

- Able to work on modern credit underwriting systems and rules

Qualifications:

- Worked for Banking/NBFC/UW processing centers with core underwriting background in unsecured credit/lending including personl loans, credit cards etc

- Post graduate in business management

- Experience in core banking products, knowledge on processes related to product management, underwriting systems, will be a added benefit.

- Deep knowledge of business process development and transformative projects.

- PMP certification will be prefered
