Job Purpose :  1. Assisting with the quarterly tax closing and reporting processes under US GAAP reporting including the FIN 18 tax rate and provision calculations and effective tax rate analysis. Includes determining discrete items on a legal entity basis.   2. Assistance with the identification of FIN 48 positions and related analysis/calculations.  3. Assist with preparation of the US GAAP year-end non-U.S. tax provision calculations and coordinate with non-U.S. tax departments to resolve income tax accounting issues.  4. Assist with preparation of the local IFRS year-end tax provision calculations.   5. Assist with local income tax return preparations and preparation of the Return to Provision files.  6. Assisting with the preparation of transfer pricing reports and OECD compliant documentation.  7. Assisting with the management of tax authority inquiries and double tax treaty issues.  8. Assisting with the preparation of local tax filings including, but not limited to, monthly Business Activity Statements for Goods & Services Tax and annual Fringe Benefits Tax returns.  Requirements :  1. CA (CPA) with 1- 3 years of experience working in international tax reporting and tax return preparation and filing.   2. Must have worked in multinational / Big Four firms in core tax functions with experience in relation to tax return preparation and other tax compliance activities  3. Must be diligent, detail-oriented, motivated and have excellent communication skills.  Skill Sets :  1. Must have hands-on experience in relation to tax return preparation and related tax compliance obligations.  2. .Should be a good team player who focuses on ensuring his/her work is of a high quality and is delivered on a timely basis.  3. Putting together a robust platform for incisive, accurate and timely tax reporting and compliances.  4. Should be flexible in relation to work hours required (e.g. possible shift work).  5. Should be able to manage multiple competing priorities and assist with the various tax and reporting initiatives of the Corporate Tax Team.   6. The proactive approach to the work.  7. Excellent presentation / Excel knowledge.  8. Corptax experience an advantage but training can be provided.  9. Should have experience with accounting systems (SAP would be a plus).
