Designation : Brand Manager   SBU : DuPont Crop Protection  Location : Gurgaon   Reporting to : Marketing Director  Direct Reports : NA  Primary Role:   - Define the portfolio strategy to meet business objectives in the short and mid term  - Responsible for achieving set financial objectives of revenue and profitability  Key Responsibilities :   a) Key Fungicide Brands : Curzate, Equation Pro, Kocide;   b) Additional Brands : Magister, Crop Max  c) Crop responsibility : Fruit and Plantation Crops  - Complete accountability for all Brands within the designated portfolio: P&L (price, volume, revenue, Gross Margin), Product Stewardship, establishment & execution of the marketing mix.  Broad Job Description :  - Design and implement the Portfolio and Brand Business Strategy  - Defining marketing strategy (marketing mix, brand renewal, brand maintenance) in alignment with Core crop plans   - Develop customer and competitor insights and implications that drive superior Brand Positioning, Value Propositions and Pricing decisions  - Lead and drive new commercialization projects from conception to readiness for launch stage  - Ensure improving profitability of the business on ongoing basis  - Own conversion of the strategies into execution plans, ensuring that all functions (Field Teams, R&D, Regulatory, Supply Chain) are aligned and capable to execute to plan.   - Formulate an integrated Crop strategy to ensure portfolio approach  - Drive the creation of an integrated plan, including brand strategies and tactics as well as definition of target customer segments  - Take accountability for Product Stewardship including final decisions on how stewardship is reflected through product labels and Communication Material   - Work on Smooth Trade initiative coordinating with key partners for entire portfolio marketing  Education Qualification & Years of Experience:   Education : Post Graduate / MBA from reputed institute  Experience :   - Min. 7-8 years of experience in Marketing & Sales   - With alteast 2-3 years of managing a portfolio/brand manager   - Field experience mandatory  - Experience in managing Profit (price, volume, revenue, costs)   - Experience in Agricultural industry ; Understanding of the crop protection industry preferred, but not essential  Key Competencies :   - Leadership and leading through influence  - Ability to energize, motivate teams  - Ability to engage senior leaders in business opportunities and issues  - Ability to manage multiple projects at one time from strategy right to implementation  - Good team work and excellent communication skills  - Marketing and Business Strategy, Brand Management, Marketing communication development  Desirable :   - Domain knowledge  Core competencies (You can choose 4 / 5 Core competencies from list below) :   - Innovation  - Embracing change  - Business acumen  - Managing for productivity
