Position Name: Manager

Practice/ Department: Business Advisory

Location: Delhi

Purpose of the Role:

- Responsible for managing key clients and multiple projects in the respective area, supporting sales and business development and managing people.

Key Responsibilities And Accountabilities Of The Role:

- Leads projects (2-3) of medium to high complexity, delivering a profitable client experience while accounting for all internal financial metrics

- Guides the project team in project delivery in terms of - leading storyboarding, quality deliverables being created, timely submission of deliverables and managing client

- Engages in articulate and compelling conversation with clients in order to understand and uncover real needs, influence client decision making, and promote other D&B Tangram services if applicable

- Demonstrates expertise in respective technical area (Trade & Investment Policy, Regulatory framework & its implications on industry/business, Options for Trade/ Investment, Investment/transaction process, Regulatory processes, etc.)

- Leads conceptualization of new methodologies/ tools/ models, to design suitable & holistic solutions for the client

- Guides team members on how to conduct data analysis of sourced information and report formats to meet client requirements

- Leads some sources of data collection e.g. interviews with key client stakeholders (Senior Government officials, Regulatory bodies, Donor agencies, Embassies/Consultates/Trade & Investment promotion bodies, Associations/ Chambers of Commerce & Industry, Think tanks, etc.)

- Monitors consultant use on the team according to budget and operational metrics to balance costs and quality appropriately on the project

- Assesses impact of project issues & develops a resolution

- Manages project administrative aspects, like ensuring timely invoicing and collections

- Supports Sales Team/ Partner in business development, in terms of concept note/ proposal creation and interacting with clients to better understand the scope and meet their needs

- Supports Practice Head in any initiative that will lead to the future development of the Practice

- Mentors team of consultants as a people manager to improve their skills (content/ industry) and build their confidence

- Offers consistent, constructive feedback to accelerate consultant development and improve individual and organizational performance

Education Qualifications & Experience :

- Overall 6-9 years experience, relevant experience in government advisory, policy research, trade & investment consulting will be preferred

- Post Graduate degree in Economics & Management would be preferred.

- Excellent relationship and networking skills

- Excellent presentation skills (mandatory)

- Good report writing skills in MS Word

- Strong project management skills (mandatory)

- Prior team management experience (mandatory)

- Adept in MS Excel and other MS Office tools (mandatory)
