The position is essentially responsible for evaluating, ideating, conceptualizing and driving strategic initiatives and projects in Channel Management, keeping in mind the overall organization Vision.   This position has the responsibility of Coordination in company for timely and effective implementation of all the Projects in Channel Management. Also responsible for taking strategic initiatives in Channel Management.   This position involves evaluating the existing functional scope and accordingly designing a road map for channel development efforts; building functional business plans; strengthening the communication flow between DTDC and channel partners and helping achieve a win-win for both the organization and its business associates in line with the twin objective of - Service Excellence & Economies of Scale.   Job Description :   Spearhead New Business Initiatives and Projects for Channel Development with - Inclusiveness- as the core agenda. Ideate and conceptualize initiatives to expand the Channel Partner network, enhance Channel Partner engagement, streamline Channel Partner SOPs and develop greater Channel Partner accountability. Monitor, measure and strategize the Channel Management function to suggest a performance metrics system for the function applicable across products and geographies using scientific tools of evaluation. Evaluate the effectiveness of the Channel Partners and the performance scorecards and suggest enhancements in the existing overall functioning of Channel Management.   Collaborate with the Leadership to develop and implement plans for enhancement of operational infrastructure of systems, processes, and personnel designed to meet the transformational growth objectives. Facilitate operational planning and marketing and branding strategies for Channel Partners with the Leadership to set objectives and methods in line with functional and organizational goals. Conduct Root Cause Analysis and apply other strategic tools to recommend relevant cross industry practices.   Regularly monitor and assess effectiveness of existing and newly implemented Initiatives and Projects. Demonstrate excellent project management skills, with a proven track record of successful delivery of projects on time, in line with budget expectations and strategy   KRA:   - Bring in an analytical approach in the overall planning and functioning of Channel Management   - Bring in a sense of accountability and result orientation in all business initiatives of the function.   - Develop time bound New Business Initiatives in line with the Channel Management expansion and development strategy.   - Conceptualization and implementations of Initiatives for more productive engagement with franchisees and facilitation of franchisees   - Create a scorecard matrix to gauge the Channel Management performance and ensure a successful implementation.   - Ensure timely designing and Facilitation of training modules for the Channel Management function.   - Analyze market trends and future industry prospects for the betterment and upliftment of franchisees.   - Coordination with Stakeholder within the Channel Function and in the company to achieve Project and Initiatives objectives and results   - Ensure timely and effective implementation of any and all projects relate to Channel function.   Skills Required :   - Strong written communication & presentation skills   - Possessing all the qualities of a good orator with experience of public speaking   - Superior interpersonal and relational skills   - Demonstrated senior leadership capabilities with ability to handle a large diversified team   - Technically sound in using computers with proficiency in using Office Software, particularly for managing presentations and spreadsheets   - Ability to analyze diverse data related to sales and service performance of channel partners and to derive actionable strategies based on the analysis   This position will be reporting to "NATION HEAD-CHANNEL MANAGEMENT"   Qualifications :   - MBA from a Reputed Management Institute with a Specialization in Marketing or Business Development would be preferred   Experience :   - Minimum 5 to 14 years experience in an organization with a large distribution footprint and channel lead business with at least 5 years of experience in a national leadership role in channel management   - Experience in channel development and customer oriented, value creation modeling is relevant   - Prior experience with an FMCG/Telecom/Banking organization with a channel sales role will be given preference
