Droom - Director - Content (7-10 yrs)

As a Director of Content, you will oversee all of the content marketing initiatives. You will be the key voice responsible for developing our compelling positioning and messaging that differentiates Droom in the market. We are looking for someone who excels at building market awareness through curating, creating, optimizing, and publishing all forms of content through multiple channels to achieve goals.

An ideal candidate will possess the following skills:

- 7 to 10 years of experience in content marketing, ideally in a related field

- A proven track record of successfully implementing a content marketing strategy in support of brand building, thought leadership, and lead generation goals

- Develop and execute content marketing plans and strategy to drive awareness in key market.

- Evangelize Droom message to industry analysts, press, bloggers, prospects, and customers

- Quality control all content to ensure its on-brand, consistent and optimized for each channel (online, social media, email, mobile, and print)

- Drive the creation, execution and publishing of content

- Define and implement a robust global content strategy.

- Work with various teams to craft compelling sales collateral that communicates our unique value proposition, engages prospects, and helps close deals - from proposal and pitch deck template to client case studies and bios.

- Implement and influence systems, processes, and technology to promote intra-company visibility & leverage of content (past, present, future).

- Assist with the creation and maintenance of a taxonomy.

- Prior experience in E-commerce industry is preferred.

- Understanding of all marketing channels and how content will be used to support them.

- High standards of editorial excellence (excellent writing, use of grammar and punctuation); an eye for detail and a desire for perfection; ability to read and comprehend technical papers and understand relevance to marketing needs; a passion for writing and the willingness to learn from other creative professionals.

- Self-starter with ability to self-manage workload. Comfortable with ambiguity and ability to make decision in a changing environment and anticipate future needs. Ability to operate as an effective tactical as well as strategic thinker.

- Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

- Excellent People Management and Communication Skills

- This role involves working directly with the leadership team.

- Result oriented and ready to take ownership.

- Desire to make impact and high work ethics.

- Ability to collaborate across departments.
