Dr Reddys - Solution Architect/Program Manager (10-20 yrs)

CONTEXT

As a part of the IT-BPE team at Dr. Reddy- s, the Solution Architect/Program Manager interacts closely with Business leaders to identify areas where IT can be deployed to bring about disruptive change or continuous improvements, and deliver solutions resulting in tangible business outcomes.

EDUCATION QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

- B.E./ MSc in Computer Science/IT; MBA from a reputed institution is desirable; PMP Certification desirable

- 8 to 10 years of experience in a reputed medium to large-scale in a R&D or manufacturing organization (preferably in Pharmaceuticals industry) or in a consulting firm.

5+ years in Business Process Analysis and Solution architecture with proven success in delivering business outcomes

Experience managing large projects/Programs

Familiarity with a major enterprise platform SAP, Share Point etc. is desirable

Experience in hands-on software development earlier in the career is desirable

1-2 years in Pharma industry on GxP related projects is desirable

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Key responsibilities include the following:

1. Building process efficiency: Understand the business strategy, analyze the business unit's activities and identify performance drivers; recommend corrections to existing processes or develop new processes, as appropriate in order to achieve improved performance. Present findings and work with the Business Unit Leader and other key stakeholders to frame tactical and strategic goals.

2. Leverage IT to enable business:

- Deep dive on technology options and make recommendations on technology solutions to improve business processes.

- Develop, define, and build business cases for process/ technology change. Support leadership in key decisions such as build vs. buy and selection of off-the-shelf technology solutions.

- Understand and communicate critical business and information technology risks to technology and business experts

- Develop use cases and other technical documents to ensure business requirements are adequately reflected in technical planning documents. Ensure that all tests are conducted and documented according the standards agreed upon by the business unit and IT.

3. Program Management: Take process improvement and digitization ideas from the conceptualization to final implementation. Create and deploy a program strategy and fully own the delivery of proposed outcomes through various projects in the program

4. Change Management: Develop communication and change management plans as they relate to process improvement. Act as a liaison between project stakeholders, department leads and external client/vendors in implementing the change. Bring to effect, the expected improvements from IT implementation, in the relevant functional areas. Be a change agent to instill continuous improvement culture
