Purpose: To ensure smooth functioning of Regional Medical Services with coordinated work with sales field teams.

Education & Experience: Post Graduation (M.D.in Pharmacology/Medicine) with 7+ Yrs of relevant Industry Experience, preferably with the regional medical services teams.

Business Understanding: Advanced understanding of operation of Regional Medical Services

Knowledge: Postgraduate in Medical Sciences with sound technical knowledge.

Behavioural Skills: Good managerial skills, Effective communication skills

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY (AOR):

AOR1. Team Management: Overseeing the day-to-day activities of Regional Medical team members. Team development through mentoring, coaching, engagement and leadership development. In order to ensure the smooth conduct of Regional Medical Services and ensure engagement of the team members

AOR2. Enhance KOL engagement: To work along with RMA team and develop a KOL database for each of the respective Therapy Areas (TAs) for the company

i. KOL development, profiling & need assessment

ii. Handling of queries from key customers and internal field staff

iii. Local publication initiatives (e.g: review article, medical writing support, supporting poster presentations at local conferences etc.)

iv. Investigator Initiated/Sponsored Study proposals as per need assessment

v. Speaker trainings: Forming speaker consortium according to therapeutic area and expected deliverable i.e. either as individual orator, part of training workshop, Round Table Meet participant or panelist for panel discussion.

In order to improve the connect of Medical Affairs with KOLs thereby ensuring implementation of India Business growth ideas

AOR3. Launch Excellence: Ensure implementation of Medico-marketing strategy for new product launches, including pre- and post- launch activities.In order to ensure effective uptake of new product

AOR4. Plan and participate in customer focused activities: To interact with & engage external customers in various scientific platforms including CMEs, round table meetings and advisory boards etc. Evolve innovative methods of customer engagement in key therapeutic areas of brand building activities. In order to interact with and engage external customers with the objective of ensuring effective uptake of new products and growth of mega-brands

AOR5. New Product Ideation: Unmet medical need assessment and providing new or differentiated product ideas based on KOL interactions and market intelligence. In order to ensure asset generation for current and future business.

AOR6. Training: Provide medical training and update medical knowledge of Sales Team on a regular basis. In order to ensure understanding of medical positioning of products and provide an overview of relevant medical knowledge
