- Strategy, Portfolio Planning and Launch:

Achieve $ 20 Mn by FY18 by organic. Build up the portfolio by identifying the future winners, adoption by the customers and the estimated demands. Frequently, interact with IPDO, RA, Supply Chain, Finance and select products for development. Also, identify products or partners for in/out licensing to widen the basket to facilitate BD deals order to grow the business through FTL and FFTL launches

- Business sustainability and de-risking

Develop a strategic direction in portfolio, brand. Identify potential business development partners based on gaps in portfolio, products offered by potential customers. Along with the BD team, identify possible opportunities for in/out licensing. Finalize the business plan with Finance & marketing. Participate in final contract negotiations. Have a strategic plan of action in place for the implementation of NHI, reference pricing & preferential local tender procurement by the Govt which will impact the business. To de-risk the business, initiate the OTC/OTX and generate additional revenues

- Robust Processes with Financial Control, Compliance and Audit Readiness

Build robust processes to Ensure that the legal entities in the region are compliant with the local regulations and adequate controls are in place for financial processes, this is actioned through regular review with local financial controllers and corp. finance and legal team. Review and discuss the responses to matters relating to pharmacovigilance along with team before the sending the response to the required bodies in the regions.

- Sales Force Effectiveness and People Management

Participate in recruitment of senior positions. Approve the organizational structure, manpower plans, talent management (promotions, increment, and career management). Participate in recruitment for senior positions. Conduct goal setting for direct reports, conduct performance reviews. Lead & execute the TMB recommendations on development plans for critical positions.

- Annual Planning and Review

Based on products selected and long term business plan, prepare the annual budgets for the region wise teams. Send the same to Business Head for approval. Quarterly/annually review the actual performance vs. budget and implement changes needed in accordance with sales budget. Track the prescription behavior and discuss the outside in benchmarking

- Industry Representation

Participate in Industry forum meetings to share experiences, challenges and to learn and implement suggested changes in the local market
