Position: Manager/Sr. Manager - Public Relations

Reports to: Chief Marketing Officer

Location: Mumbai

Job Summary : Responsible for external communication with a focus on protecting and promoting brand image.

Major job responsibilities :

- Responsible for developing and implementing the PR program in line with marketing plan to enhance, build and manage corporate and brand reputation

- Lead all media interactions for the company while working closely with all the external agencies to design, implement and deliver media led campaigns.

- Respond to media calls and inquire and prepare reports on media issues with the potential for impact on Company's reputation. Work closely with the external agencies to deliver media campaigns

- Establish new media relations and strengthen the existing media associations

- Collaborate cross functionally on communication-and-media strategy, operating plan, key messages, integration and consistency of messages and efforts, and provide support to functions for strategic communication

- Plan and budget for PR initiatives through commercial discipline and evaluate against ROI

- Lead the implementation and execution of PR tactical plans across traditional and new age media platforms - print, electronic, digital, radio.

- Lead the implementation of Crisis Communications module across different levels in the organization.

- Coordinate and execute press meets, media conferences and bloggers meet to announce corporate, brand and marketing initiatives for the company across India.

- Initiate, review and liaison with industry bodies to partner and create speaker opportunities for corporate and other vertical heads

- Identify, coordinate and develop collaterals and deck for spokespeople at Speaker Forums

- Build and develop content, news articles and photo library to manage digital assets for the company's blog.

- Work with the team to strengthen the Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability programs of the company

- Review content for news releases, online news stories, articles and image and video content for all types of communication publications and material

- Plan and execute annuals event to ensure media visibility
