Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Work with clients to understand their financials, marketing metrics and data and project requirements

- Work with team of analysts and domain experts to understand client issues, convert them into data problems, analyze these problems and create presentations that present the 'story' from the analysis to clients

- Independently manage day-to-day delivery of results along with team of analysts, ensure project deliverables are on-track at all times

- Ensure all client deliverables meet client expectations in terms of scope, speed & quality

- Continuously gather &work on client inputs, perspectives, thinking & feedback

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALITIES

- Ability to understand consumer-goods company data especially relating to marketing & sales

- Ability to create frameworks to assess issues, particularly relating to marketing ROI. Experience in management consulting preferred.

- Ability to work with complex spreadsheets with reams of financial data & supervise analysts working on the same

- Excellent marketing domain knowledge understanding, particularly in the consumer goods domain.

- Should be good at Analytical thinking & breaking down large problems into solvable chunks

- Should be interested in converting business issues into analytical problems, dealing with large and complex data-sets and teasing out insights from data

- Have a consulting orientation; gather different perspectives, examples and use them to enrich day-to-day work

- Understanding of Specifications/Grasping Power. Ability to clearly understand a complex brief from clients

- Excellent Excel & PowerPoint skills

- Attitude of leaving no stone unturned to achieve client delight

- Ability to work under dynamic, high pressure conditions

- Attention to detail, Error spotting skills: Accuracy of outputs will be all important

- Attitude of enthusiasm, can-do and should not be afraid to roll-up his sleeves

- Must have excellent relationship building skills and must be a team player
