About the Role

This is a managerial/lead profile ideal for an individual with robust experience & in-depth understanding of management & supervision of Operations, Warehousing & Supply Chain Management for an E-commerce/Retail Organisation. We are looking out for an enthusiastic & result oriented leader to re-vamp our Operations Department to help us fulfil the ever growing demand for our products and services coming from the community of pet lovers spread across the country.

Key Responsibilities Include

- Lead all the functions across the supply chain and strive to meet the targets

- Liaise with third-party logistics service providers (3PL- s), transportation carriers and negotiate contracts to secure their services

- Strive to reduce costs, lead times and improve performance within the warehouse by optimizing inventory levels & developing systems

- Supervise the inward/outward stock flows for the warehouse team

- Analyse reports/MIS for meeting demand with the forecast of products

- Map the delivery performance and identify measures to satisfy customer expectation

- Take corrective action in case of discrepancies in Demand & Dispatch/Process Order

- Apply best practices and systems for enhanced productivity

- Coordinate the technical development of all the systems and tools necessary for managing the different processes

- Lead the teams involved in category management, content management, business development & customer support

Required Skill Set

- BE or B.Tech from a good institute (full-time)

- MBA in Operations Management and Supply Chain (full-time)

- 4-5 years of experience in similar roles with proven track record of being results orientated with demonstrated ability to achieve aggressive goals

- E-Commerce and Retail experience welcome only

- Outstanding problem solving skills & decision making skills

- Strategic thinker & go-getter who can also initiate & manage change

- Advanced computer literacy: Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, data-warehouse analysis

Basic Skills

- Ability to work as a team player as well as lead and coach the team

- Result-oriented, Proactive, hard-working and enthusiastic about work

- Ability to multi-task through various functions

- Good written and verbal communication skills

- Highly ambitious with strong interests in the ecommerce industry
