For one of our client, a Leading Manufacturing MNC, we are seeking a Deputy Manager- Controller & Cost Accountant

Position : Deputy Manager- Controller & Cost Accountant

Experience : 5-8 years

Location : Gujarat (Surat)

Job Purpose:

Profitability Steering of the organization through Business planning and budgeting (Rolling Forecast) and monthly reporting

Develop and maintain an accurate product costing mechanism to support production and process engineering team.

Analyse, work out, implement and monitor Continuous Improvement Activities

Experience:

Standard Product Costing based on the annual business plan

Actual product costing for existing and new products

Month end Inventory Valuation & Lead the monthly and Annual Inventory count process.

Inventory Management i.e. monthly obsolescence reporting, inventory levels reporting, inventory usage pattern etc.

Finalization of Annual Cost Audit & Fixed Asset capitalisation & management i.e. reporting and physical verification.

Maintenance of IGAAP and IFRS Fixed Asset register

Reconciling costing and financial records

Soft Skills

Attention to detail with good analytical power able to work effectively as a team player across functions and teams with internal and external partners

Courage to speak up on fact base.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Desired Candidature:

Qualified cost accountant 5-8 Years ideally a person with a master in economics/business administration or similar post qualification. Experience preferably in manufacturing industry

Good knowledge of product costing, Cost Accounting Standards and Fixed assets management
