Director / Senior Director - Credit Origination with focus on Structured Finance and Private financing

This role is with a boutique Investment Banking firm offering financial advisory services based out of Mumbai.

A key prerequisite for the candidate is to have proven Credit Origination skills and excellent relationship with Indian Corporate borrowers. Relationship with investors be an added advantage but is not a pre requisite Candidates with relevant experience, relationship and expertise are encouraged to apply.

KRAs

- Originate a variety of credit opportunities such as loans, ECB, promoter financing, mezzanine capital, acquisition finance, pre-IPO finance, structured finance at Operating as well as Holding company level

- Should have excellent knowledge of the borrower database across various industries having worked numerous mandates with them

- Excellent relationship with clients and other market participants

- Plan and monitor the Credit Origination budget and pipelines

- Key person for implementing the overall Credit Business strategy alongwith the team to achieve company’s objectives.

- Work closely with the Syndications team to Originate as per Investors requirements / reverse enquiries.

Desired Skills and Experience

- Excellent relationship with borrowers across client hierarchy

- Good understanding of the Structured Finance / Private financing business

- Fair knowledge of legal and financial structures

- Develop, monitor and maintain database of market deals

- A keen team player

What should you look forward to?

The candidate should have a minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience and will workwith a highly rated team in the Investment Banking/Global Markets industry. Over time the candidate can look forward to getting a cross-asset exposure over and above credit. The job will entail front-end client interaction, unparallel exposure to high quality work and an aggressive and best-in-class performance linked incentive system.
