Opening with a leading specialist IT infrastructure services provider, offering a comprehensive range of services to clients across the globe. A pioneer of the remote infrastructure management concept,company has its operations hub in India with global presence across USA, UK and Middle East.

Position: Director Solutions – DataCenter

Team Management - Yes

Reports to Vice President – Solutions & Professional Services

Age Limit - Max 40 years Old Only can Apply.

Role Summary:

As Director Solutions for DataCenter Services, the individual will own the Service portfolio, roadmap, development, capability building and solutioning support for all service lines in the portfolio. Key role expectations are:

1. Lead Data Center Transformation strategy and roadmap development for the practice and build consensus within the practice on the established models

2. Develop standardized Transformation Toolkits consisting of Future Roadmap, Point of View/ Though leadership, Maturity Models, Assessments, Reference Architecture, Technology Evaluation Criteria/ Comparison framework

3. Conceptualize and build Business Justification Templates that help map Business Requirements to IT Solution recommendations and provide ROI/ TCO analysis

4. Establish standardized transformation execution approach consisting of implementation Solution Accelerators and Factory Models - Offshore 24x7 execution models

5. Engage in developing a technology transformation roadmap for strategic customers and work with a matrix team to drive execution of the plans

6. Train, motivate and mentor other consultants in utilizing and delivering technology transformation.

1. Service Development:

- Budgeting the service development for the service lines owned

- Service capability development

- Service solutioning framework

- Delivery process and documentation

- Delivery work instruments / tools

- Thought leadership creation

2. Delivery Core Team Enablement/ Ramp up:

- Delivery of reference projects

- Delivery readiness

- Training planning and execution / ramp up

- Service delivery maturity measurement & optimization

3. Presale Solutions Support:

- Solutions support for proactive pitches

- Solutioning support for Bids

Desired Skills and Experience
(Relevant experience the person must have)

1. Proven track record with a minimum of 13 years in IT infrastructure consulting/ solutioning with strong architectural background in data centers, networking, storage, virtualization, and service management

2. Proven track record in managing and executing complex projects;.

3. Multi discipline knowledge and experience IT Infrastructure components and technology, Experience in architecting Infrastructure encompassing Server Hardware such as x86 based systems & blades, non x86 systems from IBM & HP, Windows, Linux, AIX, HP-UX Systems, Hypervisors such as VMWare, Xen, Hyper-V, Mailservers, Domain-DNS-DHCP servers, Directory Server, File & Print Servers, Databases, SAN/NAS storages, Tape backups, Enterprise Systems Management, Security & Networking Devices/systems, Backup, Replication, DR & BCP Mechanisms.

4. Ability to provide holistic and right scale solution that addresses scalability, availability and security requirements by using mechanisms such as virtualization, consolidation, hardened and robust infrastructure, load balancing & clustering, DR strategy, backup and storage strategy.

5. Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture & IT service Management.

6. Experience is developing technical solutions, reference architectures

- Exposure and Experience in handling Enterprise System Management tools, Dynamic Resourcing Tools

- Handled Data Center Consolidation, Virtualization, Migration activities

- Exposure to Private Cloud Reference Architectures across Microsoft, HP, V-Block, UCS-Flexpod, IBM stacks

- Exposure to Open source and Public cloud stacks

- Exposure to Cloud Service Orchestration Tools

- Exposure to Cloud API’s and web services integration

Educational Qualification & Experience

- BE, BTech, or Equivalent in any discipline of Engineering with 15 years of relevant experience

Tests, Certification

(Specific tests that must be applied to candidates; prior certification that they may need)

- Vendor certifications in Virtualization, Systems, Storage, Networking

- Desirable certifications in TOGAF, PMP, ITIL
