About The company :   US Multinational Company with presence in more than 40 countries.   Mission for the Job :   - Provide legal counsel and support to business operations on a global basis.   - Draft, Review, and lead negotiations of a variety of high value outsourcing contracts with customers around the world.   - Identify the risks in any contract and liaise with internal business teams.   - Contract Risk Management including monitoring compliance of the contracts.   - Identify non-compliance issues, provide implications, suggest available courses of action and support their resolution.   - Strong business and organizational skills are required and the ability to multi-task with operational and finance teams on various aspects of contracting including strategizing and management of litigious issues.   - Provide general legal awareness training to various business teams.   - Draft, review contracts/ agreements with global vendors and service providers for identifying and reducing legal risks.   - Interact with business teams and negotiate with customers to conclude vendor contracts/ agreements.   - Create templates for various types of procurement contracts, agreements.   - Ability to handle and swiftly respond to complaints, including police complaints, and manage litigation, including review of plaints, written statements, etc, with effective coordination with external lawyers.   Required Traits :   - Have an understanding of the IT /BPO industry, knowledge of service agreements, software license agreements, hardware procurement agreements, IT outsourcing agreements and related transactional documents.   - Must have experience in negotiating international contracts with customers.   - Must have handled issues like intelligent properties, labor issues etc   - Ability to work effectively under pressure for clients abroad during EST /PST hours on need basis.   - Ability to deliver within the constraints of low turn-around-time.   - Be confident, dynamic and have a pro-active disposition.   - Have effective drafting and communication skills, including excellent written and spoken English.   - Have the ability to effectively work with internal clients/external customers.   - Have excellent analytical and interpersonal skills with professionalism to motivate and supervise others.   - Have strong business acumen, ethics and high integrity.   - Be ready to travel to client locations on a need basis, local and abroad.   - Be a team member and with ability to lead a team.   Job Requirements:   - Law Graduate (LL.B./LL.M.) from a Law College of repute; (Regular course only and not part time courses)   - Must be from Premium institutes like NLS, NALSAR, Symbiosis, Faculty of Law, etc.   - Must have minimum 10+ years of experience in the IT/ITES Industry   - 5 years or above of relevant legal experience handling IT/BPO deals and At least 5 years of experience in IT/ITES organization(s) is a MUST.   - Must have experience in drafting and negotiating professional services, software development and licensing transactions.   - Must have experience providing legal support on a global scale, specifically United States, India, Middle East, the European Union and Asia Pacific region.   - Excellent written and verbal communication skills   - General legal and commercial advice to the business with special focus on BPO contracts and Statement of work.   - Drafting and review of Statement of work, amendments, Change Request.   - To handle the legal aspects of all contracts/commercial agreements and documentation in regard to business process outsourcing services/software Services contracts, RFPs.   - Must have 3 years experience in handling Litigation.   Salary : Salary upto 38 lakhs/Anum .   Shifts : UK shifts. Last shift may end by 10 pm.
