Director - Securities/Banking Operations

Details about the position:

Position: Director – Security Operations

Location: Pune

Requisites:

- Possess extensive knowledge and experience of the securities markets and industry

- Direct work experience in back office, sell side brokerage operations covering Asian and European markets

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with all senior levels of management

- Ability to multitask across strategic projects and business initiatives

- Graduate of a basic degree in business/banking related or unrelated discipline

- At least 10 years of management experience in a securities/banking related industry

- Track record in direct participation or leading business change, projects or initiatives

- Basic knowledge in operations systems/applications commonly used in securities related industry including Swift, Alert, Oasys, Bloomberg

- Ensure overall departmental Risk and Control measurements are followed and aspects such as RCSA’s, procedures, and process maps are updated and consistent

Responsibilities:

- Settlements – Trade settlements and fails/exception management of trades

- Asset Services – Corporate action processing and stock borrow and loan processing

- Treasury – Cash management/funding and payment related activities (inward and outward)
