Sales
- Implement appropriate Sales structure to ensure that all segments of markets are covered & all channels of distributions are tapped for maximising revenues
- Define & develop the Sales plan to ensure customer satisfaction & maximize revenues
- Co-ordinate with the Front Office & F & B Manager/Unit Managers/ Operations Managers regarding daily sales, VIPs, regulars and other guest requirements
- Identify key communities, plan various initiatives and co-ordinate the support activities
- Implement appropriate forecasting tools & strategies to visualize market scenario & develop long range Sales plans in coordination with Marketing department
- Drive & Review revenues for the hotels
- Keep the Sales force highly motivated, trained, equipped, to deal in a competitive scenario
- Integrate all Sales activities with Marketing programs to give a cohesive thrust in the market place
- Formulate budgets & Sales plan in conjunction with the team
- Consolidation of existing business through close coordination with National Accounts, ITDs, Conferencing cells, & Territory teams to ensure optimal levels of servicing & relationship management
Marketing/ PR
MANAGERIAL:
- Develop the Annual Communications plan
- Draw up a unit relationship flow, network linking
- Brand requirements
- PR Agencies (domestic and international)
- Direct interface with media representative
- Two way communication with PR reps in key metro cities
OPERATIONAL:
- Design/ develop marketing communication plans based on a 2 way matrix consisting of brand/ SBU on one axis and city/ geography on another.
- Develop means to regularly measure extent and effectiveness of coverage in various media. Ideally the system should be able to draw an input-output relationship, in economic terms for planned - events/ activities- .
- Develop a system to evaluate the - worth- of various sponsorship/ association options that may arise and lay norms for the extent of participation in each.
- Lay down a system/ scan mechanism to proactively seek out association/ sponsorship options.
- Lay down a clear evaluation system for the hosting of representatives from international and domestic media - including group fam trips; (international) transport/ travel; private trips by journalists etc.
- Develop a formal process (including detailed script options) for regular activities like site inspections, itinerary development, domestic sightseeing, special interest focus for hosted/ sponsored media reps.
- Liaise with Brand/ Marketing functional head to ensure that relevant, critical - inside information- is transmitted to the right media in a timely and accurate manner
- Head the internal team which edits and produces the various customer newsletters
