Position Information

Title : Director, Analytics

Department : Business Development

Location : Bengaluru, India

Scope / Objective:

- The Sales Director is a senior professional with deep expertise and contacts in the Retail and/or Manufacturing (CPG, Consumer Electronics, Apparel, Footwear, Food& Beverages) sector combined with a proven sales history with focus on analytics. The role will be Bangalore based.

- The Client Director will identify appropriate - prospects" for our Analytics offerings through marketing campaigns, cold calls, and introductory e-mails.

- The prospective candidate will then qualify leads with a sales process methodology and develop potential probabilities and turning them into opportunities by educating them on the value of Client Analytics; specifically the use of big data solutions, advanced predictive analytics, and real-time analytics.

- The Sales Director will partner with the Practice Leaders and Analytics domain experts in Analytics division to develop and sell analytical solutions. This role will report to the BD Lead

Key Responsibilities:

- Identify new sales opportunities and articulate Client Analytics- value proposition to the Clients.

- Build qualified pipeline to drive sales growth for analytics in the Retail sector. Refine go to market for the sector

- Attend industry events to represent Client Analytics brand and network with prospects

- Develop & successfully close the opportunities with support from the established pre-sales & delivery team

- Comfortable selling into complex sales cycles, value based selling

- Orchestrate the Sales process through closure

- Meet quarterly bookings quota and be accountable for results.

- Single contributor role, with potential for sales leadership role as the Analytics division expands

Education / Experience/ Skills Requirement:

- Hunter profile; Self-starter; Creative

- BA/BS degree in Business or Engineering. MBA is a plus. Academic qualifications may be waived for candidates with exceptional track record.

- Deep knowledge of selling into the Retail and/or Manufacturing (CPG, Consumer Electronics, Apparel, Footwear, Food & Beverages) sector

- Sales and/or consulting experience in enterprise sales

- Experience in selling to business leaders across functional areas and to CxO-levels

- Strong written & verbal communication skills and ability to work in a fast paced entrepreneurial environment.

- 10+ years of experience in a customer-facing, Sales-related role

- Proven track record of carrying and attaining $500K annual quota; meet set quarterly bookings and revenue goals as an individual contributor and/or with a Sales & Account Management team.

- Passion for Sales, long-term relationship development and management.

- Strong sales process management skills and value selling expertise.
