The Purpose of this role is to achieve Client's objective of improving accessibility, affordability and quality of care, and, thereby, health in low, middle, and high income countries. To this end, s/he is expected to design and develop new product and service offerings in line with present and future opportunities (basis review of outputs or insights emanating from diverse live projects across Globe); develop internal capabilities (and influence building partner capabilities) to cater to these new and emerging product/service offerings

Ensure end to end project delivery for high client satisfaction with limited guidance

Actively manage project budget, work plan, as well as project and delivery schedule

Identify key areas of opportunity for ACCESS and build internal capacity around high value - administrative- and - technical- services

Conceptualize and develop proposals for new engagements on request from clients

Design questionnaire, structure samples, collect, collate and analyse data

Anticipate and identify challenges with ongoing research studies and find solutions independently

Integrate research and pertinent knowledge from live Global projects to create products and services catering to needs of Government, Partners, Academia and Private Sector

Anticipate and identify challenges with ongoing research studies and find solutions independently

Create a Knowledge Repository, subject matter expertise and support client engagements in all projects across Globe

Influence in setting priorities to improve quality of care - supported by data; engage intimately to ensure sustainability of these initiatives

Work in partnership with relevant institutions to encourage innovation and excellence in healthcare leadership

Contract, on-board and mentor new talent, when necessary

Maintain relationships with stake-holders like Government, Partners, Private Players etc

Candidate's performance would be evaluated on KPIs defined around number of new product or service offerings created; number of new proposals made for these new product or service offerings; number of Project Orders received; value of grants requested for and actually received; delivery in terms of achievement of project objectives within time and cost budgets. Right candidates would have demonstrated good performance on these or comparable KPIs

Candidate is expected to be knowledgeable and updated on contemporary debates in Health Policy of relevance to development partners, state and central ministries and the private sector. S/he should have strong academic training and experience with scientific research methods, including qualitative and quantitative research and be comfortable managing large data. S/he would be expected to have other technical skills like project management, skills in writing policy briefs, concept papers, proposals etc. S/he will have strong people skills, client managing skills, analytical and influencing skills.

Nature of employment is Perpetually contractual; initially for 2 years with opportunity for extension. Ideal candidate would be a PG in Economics, Health Economics, Management, Public Policy from a Premier Institute in India or Globally. S/he should have successfully managed end-to-end large projects, preferably in not-for-profit sector over 8-to-10 years, preferably in health financing. Working with Government and managing Global projects would be a major plus.
