Director – Project Delivery (MARKET RESEARCH)

This is a Senior Level Position and Candidates having stints with Large Market Research firms will be considered. Experience in the US markets will be an added advantage.

Scope / Objective

- The position of Director, Project Delivery MR reports into the Executive Director – Delivery and provides a unique opportunity to contribute to the overall growth of the company. This position requires enthusiasm for understanding client business issues, identifying relevant solutions, providing unmatched client service, dedication to company goals, and demonstrating a passion for quality.

Key Responsibilities

- Direct and steer engagements, lead effectively the delivery team to ensure that projects are delivered successfully

- Manage all aspects of delivery from projects from kick-off to delivery of final presentation to the client

- Projects are staffed/kicked off internally as expeditiously as feasible

- Responsible for the creation of all study materials

- Strict adherence to project timelines

- Effectively manage internal teams (fielding, delivery); ability to work with delivery teams working remotely

- Ensure project objectives are met and findings are presented with a high degree of professionalism, in a timely manner – making sure clients are delighted with the work we do and the manner in which we do it

- Inform management of activities/progress via weekly reports and forecast revisions

Education / Experience / Skills Requirement

The candidate should be a solution-oriented individual who flourishes in a challenging and fast paced environment with clients who require actionable, direct, and comprehensive answers to complex questions. Prospective candidates will have a College Degree (MBA / PhD preferred); have relevant business experience, and demonstrate the following:

- A strong background in marketing research

- 8+ yrs. of primary market research experience with a full service market research firm, managing projects from kick-off to delivery of final presentations

- Experience in managing qualitative and quantitative research, with strong skills in writing surveys

- Experience managing large multi-country/region studies preferred

- Experience with multi-variation statistical methods and advanced statistical modelling preferred.

- Experience with Fortune 500 companies preferred.

- Experience in Life Sciences is a plus.

- Strong communication, organization, and execution skills

- Must be comfortable learning and doing new things, and taking on new challenges

- Strong consultative sales skills—capable of facilitating client decision making

- Impeccable ethics and strong work ethic

- Demonstrated resourcefulness and initiative, able to work in a start-up environment

- High level of personal energy and enthusiasm

- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

- Ability to understand quantitative issues

- Ability to be able to create insights and values from data

- Excellent people skills, both upward and downward

- Excellent communications skills, team player
