Job Description: - The Director of Programming will be accountable for end to end planning, development, and delivery of web applications enhancements and ongoing maintenance for the Technology application portfolio. - Director of Programming will be the leader responsible for planning, estimating, and full Software Development Lifecycle execution while ensuring best practices and standardized processes and deliverables are adhered to. In addition, Director of Programming will be responsible for defining and resourcing the team required to support application maintenance and technology currency delivery which may include recruiting and hiring internal talent as well as leveraging existing and new sourcing partnerships to build and sustain a performing team. - Knowledge and application of current and emerging technologies, application of Agile, DevOps, and other technology development and delivery techniques is required. - Master's degree in Computer Science from IIT preferable, or equivalent in Project Management in a related field or equivalent work experience. - 10+ years of experience managing and directing highly complex, large-scale, multi-project technology development teams; strong IT program and project management skills and demonstrated experience managing to milestones and delivery dates is essential. Technical Skills: - Experience on Core PHP is must - Candidate must be familiar with MVC architecture, Web Services (SOAP, REST ful) creation, AJAX. - Intermediate knowledge of SQL/NoSQL/MySQL databases implementations. - Very good understanding &amp; experience in working with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, jQuery. - Magento, Wordpress (with customizations) and AngularJS knowledge would be a plus. - User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments. - Demonstrated track record of understanding of customer needs and expectations. Ensures that efforts are integrated and aligned with strategic priorities. Candidate must possess strong communication, collaboration, and negotiation skills. - Expert in Agile methods including SCRUM and TDD. - Experience in application architecture and making rational buy vs. build and interface decisions. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work equally well in self-managed and team based Agile/Scrum projects. - Deep technical knowledge of web applications using web services (REST/SOAP/SOA/XML/HTML).
