About the team

Both of them had earlier built FabFurnish.com. How are you different from OLX, CarDekho etc.-

We are nothing like classifieds. The fact they don't work is why we exist. Think about your experience or your friends/ family experience of selling the car. Was it painful- If the answer was yes, CARS24.com is going to change it permanently.

Do you have a US/ China equivalent-

We don't know, honestly. We understand the problem of used cars in India and we have a solution that works. It is proving itself day in and day out and we are seeing crazy success. If innovation excites you without caring about precedents, talk to us.

How about funding-

The truth is that we make tons of money to cover our costs easily. So we don't think we will need hundreds of millions, as we have a very viable business model that is scaling fast. However, some of the strongest VCs are our investors, because we are out there to win and we have a formidable strategy in every aspect.

It gives us the focus to solve the problems. It is important to preserve the special business that we are building.

Director - Product

Role

- Owner of all the consumer and business apps, tools and platforms. Over 10+ intricate and complex systems.

- Develop new products and evolve existing ones as per the business priorities

- Manage a team of 3-5 product managers; facilitate effective coordination with the technology team

Key Skills

- Strong business understanding skills (problem solving, critical reasoning, logical thinking); this is key to ensure that we are building the - right and business relevant- products

- Strong process management skills to ensure the product creation and development process is well defined, well executed and well implemented

- Strong team management and interpersonal skills to be able to work effectively with the technology team

- Strong data skills to be able to track various business data and create actionable insights based on that.

- Good communication skills to be able to manage coordination with business stakeholders and technology team

- Hands-on should be ready to do consumer surveys, do rigorous product testing and define sprints in detail whenever necessary.

Expectations

- Should be self-driven and work independently; this is very important

- Should enjoy a target driven culture and should get motivated to achieve and exceed targets

- Should be very strong on process skills to ensure sprints are well organized and are very effective

- Should have strong business understanding ability

Experience

- Min 7-8 years of work experience

- Strong education and/ or work pedigree

- Prior product experience is good to have but what is more important is ability to demonstrate strong business understanding, skills, strong process orientation and strong data skills

- (ONLY tier 1 colleges; tier 1 companies)

Location Gurgaon with 6 days week
