We have a senior position open for a Director Planning with a leading eCommerce company based out of Bangalore.

- Business plan evaluation and modelling

- Have an in depth knowledge of competition and brands and ability to influence the market

- Delight the stakeholders: Develop the business model, understand where strategic opportunities are and create a viable business to service them.

- Establish and own Planning cadence with all the Fashion Category. Take care of entire Merchandise Plan.

- Should have good knowledge on assortment Planning.

- Collaborate closely with IPC to secure a view of the historic forecast, inventory profile etc.

- Liaison with cross functional stakeholders (Ex: Supply Chain, Customer Service, Marketing, Sales, Technology etc.) to secure a view of constraints.

- Develop a model to baseline forecasts, benchmarking and defining the KPIs

- Evaluate and revise forecasting approach as needed in terms of changing business context.

- Measure, own and influence forecast accuracy
 
- Invoke controls around demand planning and inventory planning

- Team - Business planning - mid-to long term planning for business planning, strategic initiatives

Analytics:

- To use data for delivering actionable analytics

- Develop forecasts, statistical models, segmentation, and data-driven analyses to drive marketing and merchandising efforts around customer acquisition, retention, upselling and conversion

- Discover new opportunities to optimize the business through analytics and statistical modelling

- Partner with the Technology teams to deliver a stable and highly available reporting, discounting and pricing platform
 
- Project management aspect should be known to the person. Eg. Exclusive launch plan.

Must Have’s:

- Analytics/Planning background, Retail/merchandise planning 3-4 years in hard core planning, analytics, sales planning·         

- Tier 1 engineering college and management colleges
