Job Description :

The primary responsibilities include :

- Manage daily operations of the region in a manner that supports business objectives, achieves milestones, and contributes to financial goals.

- Ensure the operating unit is running efficiently, optimizing company resources, and maximizing profits. Develop metrics for capturing, analyzing, and reporting effectiveness. Recognize issues and escalate problems through appropriate channels. Manage, motivate, coach, and develop the team.

- Identify, develop, and implement opportunities to improve processes, products and/or services. Lead process improvement and change initiatives.

- Report key business decision-making information to management on both an ad-hoc and recurring basis.

- Manage key relationships with global functions, other operating units, corporate functions, and customers.

- Represent the operations function or region through participation in management meetings, steering committees, task forces, and committees.

- Contribute to the business's strategic planning process. Plans may require operations involvement in the development of new products; pursuit of new business opportunities; execution of product launches; coordination of marketing and sales campaigns, design of sales training and compensation plans, alignment of sales channels, establishment of customer service and support models, and more.

Competencies & Skills :

- Drive strategic initiatives that meet the organizations long term goals

- Design solutions that combine global delivery models, technology and managed services

- Financial acumen and ability to interpret P&L levers

- Ability to organize and conduct focussed discussions aimed at problem resolution and decision making

- Ability to operate in a cross-functional environment and a matrix organization

- Self-driven with a strong sense of responsibility

- Excellent communication & presentation skills

- Excellent written and spoken English

Qualification :

- MBA in International Business (or similar stream) from a leading institute

Experience :

- 12+ years of experience in the services outsourcing industry

- 5+ years of experience of managing a P&L responsibility in an operations role

- Experience in service delivery will be an advantage
