Job Details :   Function - Marketing, Menu Management and Corp Communication   Location - Mumbai  Job Summary  Responsible for driving the development and execution of marketing product and communication strategy in line with relevant customer segments thus enabling achievement of desired profitable growth, in line with overall business strategy. Focuses on maintaining and building brand in the region and successful launch of products.   Financial Accountability (cost/revenue with exclusive authority) -   - Departmental G&A budget  - Marketing Budget for India (Corporate and Regional)  - Gross margin co-owned with operations function   Organizational Relationship & Reporting Structure  Reporting To - Vice President  Direct Reports  Brand Management Team  SM - Media & Digital  AGM - Innovation   GM - Corp Communication and CSR   No. of Indirect Reports - 10-12  Description of responsibility  Planning/Strategy 31Q  - Develop effective long and short term product and marketing strategy in alignment with consumer segments and business growth strategy  - Plan for marketing budgets and allocations at national level.  - Provide necessary inputs for and own the responsibility for the 31Q plan for entire function  - Develop mechanisms to ensure effective cascade of global and corporate marketing initiatives to regional level  - Responsible to continue to build brand through PR and Communication.   Key functional responsibilities  - Lead the marketing and communication function and drive towards achieving the desired business goals stated by business council including top line growth, profitability, market share and other areas of focus  - Direct the development of the overall corporate brand identity over long term and oversee the implementation through various communication methods outside and inside the restaurants  - Oversee development of competitive differentiation at regional level within the desired brand identity framework  - Co create a Menu Vision with the product team and articulate the Menu management Roadmap to ensure that the organization stays ahead of the curve in terms of product offering and creates competitive differentiation  - Make certain that market research and insights is leveraged in developing marketing strategies to align plans to customer needs and trends  - Guide the Regional Marketing endeavors in developing strong regional marketing strategy to achieve the regional sales plan  - Manage and guide media management teams on business objectives and strategies to deliver on portfolio objectives with budget efficiencies  - Drive focus on Digital marketing to enhance customer engagement and business performance  - Promote and protect the brand image amongst stakeholders through effective management of Corporate Communication cell  - Review agency / alliance partnership guidelines for meeting best interests of the organization  - Establish frameworks and govern new product roll outs, channels & geographies  - Establish and review guidelines for all external & internal communications  - Collaborate with IT team to leverage technologies that enable the digital transformation and implementation of identified initiatives   Process Improvement & Operational Efficiency  - Establish frameworks and oversee processes, initiatives to evaluate the effectiveness and ROI on the marketing initiatives at corporate and regional level   People Management  - Set clear and objective goals / key responsibilities for the team  - Drive performance of team members and provide feedback on an ongoing basis  - Co-facilitate identification and delivery of key learning & development goals (functional and behavioural)  - Actively work on team engagement practices and programs  - Identify, groom and reward high performers and future leaders in the function  - Cultivate a culture of excellence and process improvement Interactions  Stakeholder Interactions   (Within the Organization)  - CEO, Vice Chairman  - Managing Director  - Head - Operations  - Head - Strategic Planning & Insights  Stakeholder Interactions   (Outside the Organization)  - External Marketing, Communication and Media Agencies  - Alliance Partners (like FreeCharge, Zomato)  - Media and Press (for Public Relations)   Geographical Scope  Pan India (West & South)
