We are looking for Lean certified Black Belt Track Leader for eCommerce orgnaization. The position is based out of Bangalore.

Job Description:

Position Background:

- The Lean certified Black Belt Track Leader drives the Lean initiatives as measured by unit performance, including sales, profitability, customer satisfaction, and associate engagement through operational processes.

- This position focuses on building Lean Supply Chain consultant capabilities, Lean Supply Chain business development (lead generation, lead follow-up, booking business) and delivery of consulting services to the firm’s clients.

- This role works closely with the cross functional business units and field operations teams.

Responsibilities:

- This position will require an experienced “hands-on” supply chain executive to lead engagement teams with internal teams, helping them achieve their strategic corporate objectives through the implementation transformation based principles focused both at the enterprise level (Demand Management, Order Fulfillment, Supply Management, Business Planning/Scheduling and S&OP/SIOP) and at the shop floor level, leveraging Lean Six Sigma principles.

- Lean Deployment and Facilitation: Develop and implement an action plan for the deployment of all aspects of the Flipkart’s Lean process improvement program, including, but not limited to kaizen, 5S, value stream mapping, and Design for Lean Six Sigma events.

- Responsible for working with department managers in identifying areas for process improvement events, establishing objectives for each project, and selecting cross-functional team members and leaders.

- Act in the capacity of the facilitator for each event.

- Coordinate each project/event phase and ensure that participants and stakeholders have the tools and resources they need, necessary information, and guidance to enable them to fully engage in the process and maximize the potential outcome of each event.

- Establish and own the LEAN improvement roadmap. Partner with the business leaders to develop and implement Lean methods (Kaizen events & Six Sigma), standards and training to be deployed across the organization and drive profitability of business, ensuring benefit view at the enterprise-wide level.

- Lead cross functional teams on planning, data management and milestone tracking for the implementation of strategic initiatives.

- Develop apply Lean, Six Sigma and related performance improvement methodologies to analyze performance metrics and adequately evaluate business performance. Develop high performance leaders through Lean Experience and develop, manage and leverage strategic partners/vendors to develop skills and add capacity. Develops, documents, and executes a project plan, utilizing approved Lean tools and methodologies.

Desired Skills and Experience:

- Implementing Lean Six Sigma principles for a company that utilizes the continuous improvement principles based on Lean and Six Sigma.

- Deep experience developing/training/coaching/leading supply chain organizations in the execution of supply chain transformation principles focused both at the enterprise level (Demand Management, Order Fulfillment, Supply Management, Business Planning/Scheduling and S&OP) and at the shop floor level, leveraging Lean Six Sigma principles.

- Ability to work at both a strategic and tactical level, outstanding communication and relationship building skills, strong analytic capability.

Educational Qualification:

- Graduate preferably with an MBA coupled with a minimum 10+ years of total experience.

- A minimum of a Bachelors Degree in business, engineering, or related discipline is required. An MBA is preferred.

- Six Sigma Master Black Belt Certified required.

- The individual will have a demonstrated ability to not only use but also effectively instruct in the proper use of Six Sigma and Lean Principles such as Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, Continuous Improvement Process, DMAIC, as well as other statistical problem solving tools.

- Effective facilitator and communication through encouragement, motivation and inspirational skills at all levels of the organization.
