About our Client: Our client is a US based Multinational and is a leader in the marketing and consulting space. With a global footprint and a very strong presence in India, they are looking for a Senior Business Partner for one of their core business units in India.

Job Description: Reporting directly to the Global Director of Internal Audit, you will be responsible for:

- Manage five employees and local partnerships with both our outside auditor and a co-sourced internal audit/sox partner.

- Keep informed of industry issues and trends in order to proactively shape Internal Audit practices and procedures and advise management on industry directions and best practices.

- Participate in internal risk assessment process, recommend and develop the internal annual audit plan.

- Upon receipt of Audit Committee approval, execute and perform the responsibilities necessary to achieve the internal audit objectives and scope.

- Coordinate with external auditors to ensure proper audit coverage, eliminate duplicate efforts and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of audit activities.

- Develop and enforce audit standards, policies, and procedures on a global basis, in compliance with Institute of Internal Auditors standards.

- Oversee the execution and completion of audit fieldwork, recommending control improvements including operational enhancements or efficiencies, and preparation of audit work papers and reports

- Prepare results of audits and internal investigations.

- Report regularly to the Audit Committee and management.

The Successful Candidate:

- You should be a CA with minimum 15 years of audit experience, including time working in the Big 4 and in a management capacity for a corporate Internal Audit function of a U.S. public company.

- You should be an experienced, hands-on manager with strong business acumen, understanding of business and IT operations, strong analytical and project management skills and working knowledge of US GAAP
