About our Client - Our client is a leading MNC in the consumer durables space. With a very strong presence in India across multiple locations, they are looking for a Director HR to lead the HR function for the India business.

Job Description - Reporting to the Asia-Pacific HR Head you will be responsible for :

- Work with assigned leadership team to define talent management needs of the organization and to design and implement policies and programs and practices enabling the organization to achieve business goals and objectives

- Facilitate organization, leadership and associate development efforts, work with associates and managers to address root causes of people issues and partner with the regional functional team to provide solutions.

- Drive and roll out core corporate HR programs/initiatives and contribute to the HR team initiatives

- Advise management in the appropriate resolution of associate relations issues; evaluate associate relations and work related problems and meet with managers to identify effective solutions

- Develop programs, policies, procedures and controls regarding employment and analyzes manpower, turnover and other personnel statistics.

- Facilitate conflict resolution, assess high risk situation and recommend resolutions that appropriately balance the needs of company, associates and management.

- Lead, motivate and develop local HR teams and manage the operations of HR functions in the country.

The Successful Candidate :

- You will 13-16 years of total experience with an MBA from a Tier 1 management institute(XLRI, TISS, MDI) in India in a front ended HR Generalist role / HR Business Partner role and will come with excellent global stakeholder management skills.

- Prior experience in a complex matrix organization having managed 1000+ employees is mandatory.

- Excellent exposure to best practices in HR and in depth HR initiatives must be demonstrated through your prior work experience.
